    How do we officially book?
    To secure your wedding date, we require a signed contract and a deposit. This guarantees your DJ and any add-ons (photo booth, uplighting) are reserved exclusively for your event.

    Can we meet or talk with our DJ before the wedding?
    Yes! About a month before your wedding, you’ll connect directly with your DJ to review your timeline, music selections, announcements, and any special details.

  • Can we customize the playlist?
    Absolutely. Every couple gets access to our online planning form where you can add must-play songs, do-not-play songs, and special dances. Your DJ will also read the crowd in real time to keep the dance floor full while honoring your requests and vibe.

    Will the DJ act as our MC?
    Yes. Every Athens DJ Service DJ is a trained Master of Ceremonies. We’ll handle key announcements (grand entrance, toasts, cake cutting, first dances, bouquet toss) and keep the night running smoothly.

    What happens if the DJ gets sick or something breaks?
    We always bring backup equipment (extra speakers, mics, cables, and gear) to every event. Plus, Athens DJ Service is a team of professional DJs - if an emergency ever came up, another qualified DJ from our roster would step in so your celebration is never at risk.

  • Do you provide sound and microphones?
    Yes. We bring a professional sound system for both your ceremony and reception. You’ll have one wireless microphone for the ceremony and one for the reception (for toasts, announcements, and speeches).

    What lighting is included?
    Every wedding DJ package includes dance floor lighting to add energy once the dancing starts. You can also add 12 wireless uplights to transform your room with elegant color during dinner and convert them to party mode once the dance floor opens.

    When do you set up and tear down?
    We typically arrive about 90 minutes before your event to set up sound, lighting, and any extras like photo booths. After the celebration, we handle all teardown and packing so you can simply enjoy the night.

  • Do you offer photo booths for weddings?
    Yes! We offer two great options:

    • Digital Selfie Station – a sleek, self-service booth perfect for social sharing.

    • Digital Booth with Backdrop – includes a professional backdrop, fun props, and an attendant if desired.
      Both options include an online gallery for guests, built-in font and layout options, and the ability to upgrade to fully custom graphic design for a personalized look.

    Do you offer videography or social highlight videos for weddings?
    No. We focus on music and photo booth experiences only. Our video content services are available for Greek life and school events, not for weddings. If you’re hiring a videographer, we’re happy to coordinate with their team so everything runs smoothly.
