What is SPOT MY PHOTOS?

Contact Us
  • Q: Do most UGA date nights need a DJ?
A: Not always. Many downtown Athens bars run house music. Most chapters book media-only (photo, social video, photo booth) and add DJ/karaoke/silent disco only when they want control over vibe or themes.

Q: How far in advance should we book?
A: 4–8 weeks is ideal for bar buyouts. Peak weeks (Halloween, Tacky Christmas, Valentine’s) go faster—lock vendors as soon as the venue/date is set.

Q: What’s the minimum event length you support?
A: Most à-la-carte items run 2-hour minimums (e.g., Spot My Photos, Social Media Videography). Booths can be longer depending on flow and headcount.

Q: Can you handle back-to-back events the same night?
A: Yes—our compact footprints and fast turnarounds are designed for multi-chapter nights and staggered schedules.

  • Q: Do you provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance) for the bar?
A: Yes. We supply COIs on request—most downtown Athens venues require them for Greek events.

Q: What about space and power needs?
A: Photo booths, creator kits, and DJ add-ons use standard 120V. We run bar-safe cable paths and keep setups tight so service lanes stay clear.

Q: Can you keep volume under venue caps?
A: Yes—clean edits + smart volume control. For silent venues or mixed tastes, choose Silent Disco.

Q: Will you coordinate with venue managers/security?
A: Absolutely—load-in/out timing, ID/wristband procedures, and house rules are reviewed ahead of time.

  • Q: What’s the difference between photography and “social media video”?
A: Photography captures candids, groups, and quick portraits. Social media video is a roaming creator shooting vertical clips (entrances, crowd energy) optimized for IG/TikTok.

Q: How fast do we get content?
A: Photo booth shares are instant. Spot My Photos sends guests only their photos within seconds. Edited photo sets and recap clips typically 48–72 hours (rush available).

Q: Can parents/alumni get photos, too?
A: Yes—share a post-event recap gallery or use Spot My Photos guest links.

Q: Do we own social usage rights?
A: Yes—your contract includes chapter social usage (IG, TikTok). Ask about extended usage for merch/ads.

  • Q: Which booth works best for a crowded bar?
A: Selfie Station or Essential (digital)—high throughput, minimal footprint. For elevated portraits, pick Luxe or Glam; for hype moments, choose 360 (needs ~10×10 ft).

Q: Can we brand the outputs?
A: Yes—chapter-color overlays and event titles on photos/videos; we’ll match your theme (My Tie, Tacky Christmas, Monster Ball, etc.).

Q: Do we get prints or only digital?
A: Essential/Selfie are digital; Luxe/Glam can add print strips if the venue allows a small print station.

Q: Do you bring an attendant?
    A: Selfie/Essential can be drop-off; Luxe/Glam/360 are tech-run for quality and flow.

  • Q: How does Spot My Photos work at a bar?
A: Guests scan once at the booth or with a greeter; from then on, only the photos they’re in are delivered privately to their phones within seconds—no app required.

Q: Is it private and consent-based?
A: Yes—guests opt in, and delivery is private to each guest. You can also publish a chapter recap gallery after the event.

Q: Does Spot My Photos work with roaming photographers?
A: 100%. It pairs with booths or roaming photo so members get their own pics automatically.

  • Q: If the bar already has music, why add a DJ?
A: For clean edits, themed sets, and mic control (announcements, award shoutouts). Otherwise, stay media-only and add karaoke or silent disco for interactivity.

    Q: What’s included with karaoke?
A: Two mics, on-screen lyrics, curated catalog, and a tech to manage the queue and levels.

Q: When is Silent Disco the better call?
A: Venues with noise caps or mixed music tastes. Multiple channels let groups pick their vibe without blasting the room.

  • Q: Do you cover My Tie, Tacky Christmas, Monster Ball, or Festival-of-the-Sun themes?
A: Absolutely—those are UGA staples. We match overlays and slates to theme and keep clean edits/volume for parent-friendly nights.

Q: Do you bring props or backdrops?
A: We can—most bars have a photo wall; we’ll add branded overlays. For bigger looks, ask about portable neon/backdrops (venue-permitting).
